Reiki is a method of utilising energy of higher dimensions for healing. 'Rei' is the spiritual essence of the human being and the energy which exists in everything in creation - Ki is the Life Force, the breath of the Divine, also known as Chi, Prana, Mana, Bioplasmic energy, Light and the Holy Ghost. When the two merge together - 'Reiki' - the spirit becomes one with the universal consciousness.
Ryoho means method. Usui Reiki Ryoho - or Reiho as it is sometimes called - is the method of Reiki which was taught by Doctor Mikao Usui, the founder of Reiki in Japan. He taught that Reiki Ryoho is a spiritual and energy healing technique. He said that spiritual healing brings fundamental healing by our becoming part of the universal consciousness, whilst energy healing centres around removing symptoms of mind and body disorders.

REIKI SHARING
A Reiki sharing and support group is held on the last Wednesday of every month at 7.30 pm for Reiki students and practitioners, where information is exchanged and up-dated. The evening is for group healing, planet healing and for sending Reiki to others in need.
